Track booking conversions with source tags

By adding a source tag to the booking URL you use for various channels, you can track which bookings come from where.

This is your basic booking link: https://account.dineplan.com/widgetframe/XXX

(with XXX being your unique Dineplan KEY which you'll find at https://account.dineplan.com/settings/widget)

 

If you'd like to track which bookings come from which links, you can add source tags eg:

  • https://account.dineplan.com/widgetframe/XXX?source=Facebook
  • https://account.dineplan.com/widgetframe/XXX?source=Instagram
  • https://account.dineplan.com/widgetframe/XXX?source=emailcampaign

For posts, you can shorten the link with a free service like Bitly (https://bitly.com/).

Facebook post links are hyperlinked, Instagram aren't. So for Instagram posts, you can also mention Booking Link in Bio

Instagram now allows multiple URL's in your Bio, so you can add a booking link there too. Edit your Bio and look for the Links section.
