How to Close Off Orders

Blocking off days or times for ordering/takeaways.

In order to close or block off ordering days or times, one uses Exceptions. You'll find Exceptions on the main tab on the left of your Dineplan account.

Date exceptions will close an entire day, while time exceptions will close only the times you select.

Date Exceptions

On the right-hand submenu, select Exceptions and then Add Exception. Enter the Exception Name and Online Name. The online name will be what guests see on your ordering platform. You can select a single date or a date range.

Select the Shift(s) and Seating area(s) you would like to disable.

There is also an optional field for internal notes. Click Save when you're happy with your Exception. You will be able to edit it at a later stage from your list of Exceptions should you need to.

Time Exceptions

On the right-hand submenu, select Time Exceptions and then Add Time Exception. Enter the Exception Name and Online Name. The online name will be what guests see on your ordering platform. You can select a single date or a date range.

Select the times you would like to close off and add any internal notes if you would like to. Click Save when you're happy with your Exception. You will be able to edit it at a later stage from your list of Time Exceptions should you need to.
