I want to close dates and times for bookings.

Quick guide to stop guests booking online when your restaurant is closed or you are fully booked.

You can close any date, time, shift and area for online bookings very quickly and easily through your Dineplan account by creating Exceptions.

 

Once logged in, click on the Exceptions tab on the left in your account (or click HERE once logged in.) If you do not see the Exceptions tab or the link says that this is unavailable, it means that the user that you are logged in with does not have permissions to access Exceptions. See the User Permissions article by clicking HERE for more information on how to update this.

 

There are 2 types of Exceptions: DATE and TIME

Date Exceptions

  • Simply click the +Add date exception button when in the Exceptions tab to create a Date Exception

  • Use this to quickly close an entire day or just one area or shift for online bookings.

  • You can set a single date or date range and then select specific days of the week within the date range.

  • To remove a Date Exception, simple click the red dustbin icon in line with Exception that you want to delete

 

TIME EXCEPTIONS

  • Click on the Time Exceptions button in the menu on the right when in the exception tab to view all time exceptions

  • Click the +Add time exception button at the top right to create a Time Exception

  • Time Exceptions are used to close a specific time or multiple times for all areas and shifts for a specific date or date range.
