How guests place orders online and how you can add an order manually

Guests can place orders online, wherever there is a link to your ordering platform:

  • your website,

  • your social media places,

  • our Dineplan website and/or App

 

These orders will automatically appear in your Orders dashboard once paid. You will receive an email and sms asking you to accept or reject the order. The order will show as pending on the guests end until the restaurant accepts the order. Once the order has been accepted, the guest will receive a confirmed notification.

 

Alternatively, you can manually capture bookings received from telephone calls, WhatsApps or emails. You can send the guest a payment link and manage the order.

 

Here are the steps to follow when capturing an online order manual via the same web link that guests use:

In your Orders view, on the top right:

  • Click on "New Pickup" OR "New Delivery" option.

  • Select Delivery Time (date and pickup/delivery will already be selected, but you can still change them here should you need to)

  • Scroll through your menu and select the items your guest would like to order and click on "Add to cart"

  • Once all items are selected, you can view your order by clicking through to the next page to view your total amount and delivery fee if applicable.

  • Click "Continue" and enter the guests details

  • Click "Continue" to view your order summary

  • Agree to the Terms and Conditions by ticking the box

  • Click "Place Order"

 

Once order is placed, the guest will receive a payment request via sms and email. You will receive an email notification once the guest has made payment.

 

 

NB: You will only receive the order once the guest has made full payment for their order.

 

Once they've made payment you will receive an email and sms asking you to accept or reject the order. The order will show as pending on the guests end until the restaurant accepts the order. Once the order has been accepted, the guest will receive a confirmed notification.

 

If you would like to send a payment request only, you can do so by selecting the "New" button to the right of Delivery and Pickup.
