User Pin Management

Create secure internal audit trails for changes made within your Dineplan account

Do you want an accurate way of seeing which staff made changes to your account and being able to hold them accountable?

 

Enabling User Pin Management is the best way to achieve this.

Booker Pins link a staff member's name to a unique pin. Each time the staff member is required to make certain changes to reservations or on the account, it requests their pin in order to make the change. The staff member's name who is associated with this pin is then used in the Audit Trail.

Simply contact Dineplan to have this feature activated on your account.

 

Pro Tip

  • Each staff member should be the only person to know their pin. This keeps the audit accurate and prevents someone else from using their pin/name.

  • Make sure that each staff member who has access to Dineplan is given a pin. (This prevents them from asking another staff member to use their pin.)

  • Management should store a list of all pins and whose names they relate to so that staff who forget their pin can get this easily by going to management.
