Differences between 'Immediate' & 'Non Immediate' payments.

What is the difference between immediate and non immediate payments?

Ultimately, the decision to use immediate or non-immediate payments will depend on your restaurant's needs and policies. It's important to consider the advantages and disadvantages of each option before making a decision.

When setting up a payment item and template in your Dineplan account, you have the option of choosing between an immediate or non-immediate payment.

If you select immediate payment, the guest will be required to make a payment before their reservation can be confirmed. If the payment is unsuccessful, the reservation will not be confirmed. As shown in the example below, immediate payment ensures that guests pay upfront, which can be useful for busy periods and to avoid no-shows.

On the other hand, non-immediate payment means that guests can confirm their reservation without making a payment. They will be required to pay at a later stage but their reservation will be confirmed as seen below.
